FAQ

  • Q What’s the advantage of low iron glass compared to regular float glass?

A Low iron glass has higher transparency and color accuracy, ideal for display and architectural aesthetics.
  • Q What is your production lead time?

A Typical lead time is 7–15 days depending on order quantity and customization. Rush orders can be arranged upon request.
  • Q The Most Common Thicknesses for toughened Glass Panels?

A The most common thicknesses for toughened glass panels are 6mm, 8mm, and 12mm. Thicker glass panels offer higher resistance to impact and can support more weight than thinner ones. For instance, if you're installing a balcony railing that needs to withstand strong winds and heavy loads, then a 12mm thick toughened glass panel would be appropriate. However, if you're installing a shower enclosure that won't be subjected to much force or weight, then a 6mm thick toughened glass panel would work well.
  • Q What makes special glass different from regular glass?

A Special glass is engineered for specific uses — it can be stronger, lighter, or more functional than standard architectural glass.
  • Q What types of glass are most suitable for curtain wall applications?

A Laminated, tempered, insulated, and Low-E glass are most commonly used for their strength and energy performance.
  • Q Can your tinted float glass be combined with Low-E coatings?

A Absolutely. For maximum energy efficiency, we frequently manufacture Insulated Glass Units (IGUs) featuring an outer pane of tinted glass (to absorb heat and reduce glare) and an inner pane of Low-E glass (to reflect interior thermal energy). This combination provides the ultimate U-Value and SHGC ratings.
  • Q How can I improve the energy performance of glass panels?

A Combine base glass with Low-E or reflective coatings to enhance insulation and reduce heat transfer.
  • Q Do you provide samples?

A Yes, we can provide sample pieces for quality inspection before bulk orders.
Sample cost and shipping depend on glass size and destination.
  • Q How to Choose the Right Thickness for Your toughened Glass Panels?

    A
Consider the Application and Location of the toughened Glass Panels:
When choosing the right thickness for your toughened glass panels, it's important to consider the application and location where they will be installed. If you're installing glass panels in an area with high traffic or where there's a risk of impact, such as a storefront or balcony railing, then thicker glass panels are recommended. On the other hand, if you're installing glass panels in an area with lower risk of impact, such as a shower enclosure or tabletop, then thinner glass panels may suffice.
  • Q Can you support custom glass fabrication, and what are your sizing limits?

A Yes, we specialize in custom glass fabrication. Our production lines support a wide range of custom dimensions, including heavy-duty jumbo-sized glass panels. Since the exact maximum and minimum sizes change depending on the processing combination (such as tempering or insulating), please send us your design drawings, and our technical team will give you the exact limits for your project.
