Zhejiang Ruineng: Clean Energy Headquarters Curtain Wall Glass

Zhejiang Ruineng is a global clean energy developer and operator, focusing on the investment, development, construction, and operation of solar power and energy storage projects worldwide. Completed in 2024, this 6,000 sqm facility adopts a high-performance facade glazing system to support efficient building operation and long-term sustainability. Reach Building provided a low-iron Low-E insulated glass solution, enhancing daylight quality while improving overall energy performance.

Technical Spotlight: Low Iron Low-E Insulated Glass for a Clean Energy Headquarters

The facade system utilizes a refined insulated glass configuration designed to balance optical clarity, thermal efficiency, and structural reliability in clean energy applications:
  • Configuration: 6mm Float + 12A + 6mm Low Iron Low-E Tempered Insulated Glass (52 Series).
  • Low-Iron Glass for Clarity: Low iron glass removes the green tint found in standard float glass, delivering higher light transmittance and neutral color across the facade.
  • Low-E Coating for Energy Efficiency: Enhances thermal insulation by limiting heat transfer, contributing to lower energy consumption and improved indoor comfort.
  • Tempered Glass for Safety: Provides increased strength and durability, ensuring stable performance in facade applications.
  • 12A Air Space for Insulation: Optimizes thermal performance while maintaining structural balance within the glazing unit.
  • 52 Series Curtain Wall: The 52 series profile provides structural support, weathertightness, and precise glass retention across the full building envelope.
