The Zhejiang Jingsheng Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. project is an industrial development designed to support advanced manufacturing and precision engineering operations. Completed in 2024, the project incorporates approximately 20,000 sqm of curtain wall glazing, with high requirements for thermal performance, structural strength, and safety. Reach Building provided a multi-system glazing solution to meet the diverse functional needs of the project. The solution combines energy-efficient Low-E insulated glass with laminated glass systems, enhancing overall building performance while ensuring safety and durability in critical areas.

The glazing strategy adopts multiple glass configurations to meet varying performance requirements across industrial, office, and public-facing zones within the facility:

• Configuration: 5mm Float + 12A + 5mm Low-E Tempered Insulated / 6mm Float + 12A + 6mm Low-E Tempered Insulated / 10mm Float + 12A + 10mm Low-E Tempered Insulated / 6mm + 1.14mm + 6mm Dry Laminated Tempered / 6mm + 1.14mm + 6mm Dry Laminated Tempered + 12A + 6mm Tempered Insulated.
• Tiered Low-E Insulated Systems: The 5mm, 6mm, and 10mm Low-E insulated configurations form a tiered thermal system, the 5mm delivers lightweight efficiency for standard facade zones, the 6mm provides a balanced thermal and structural profile for mid-range applications, and the 10mm delivers maximum structural strength and thermal resistance for large curtain wall panels and structurally demanding exposures.
• 12A Cavities: The 12A insulating cavity minimizes convective heat transfer while contributing to acoustic performance and condensation resistance.
• Laminated Glass: 6mm + 1.14mm + 6mm laminated glass provides reliable fragment retention in safety-critical areas, reducing risk in high-traffic or accessible zones.
