Q How should Low-E glass be stored to maintain its coating performance?
A Offline Low-E glass can generally maintain its coating performance for approximately eight months when stored properly under normal conditions.To provide additional protection during storage, we apply anti-mildew powder between the glass sheets to reduce moisture and prevent sticking. The powder can later be washed off with clean water without damaging the coating.In addition, each glass pack is edge-sealed and packed in a protective wooden crate. As a result, when the original packaging remains unopened and intact, our Low-E glass can normally be stored for up to 36 months.
