From April 7 to 10, 2026, I had the opportunity to attend China Glass 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. As one of the world’s largest and most influential glass industry exhibitions, the 35th edition brought together over 900 exhibitors and tens of thousands of professionals from more than 30 countries.
During the four-day event, I focused on two main goals: gaining fresh industry insights and conducting meaningful business discussions.
What I Learned
The exhibition showcased rapid advancements in energy-efficient glass solutions, including next-generation Low-E coatings, high-performance insulated glass, and innovative laminated glass technologies. Sustainability was a major theme, with many exhibitors highlighting low-carbon production methods and recyclable glass systems — trends that align closely with Reach Building’s commitment to green building materials.
I also explored new developments in tempered glass processing, smart glass applications, and advanced facade solutions that can help our clients achieve better energy performance and safety standards.
Business Connections
Beyond technology, the real value came from face-to-face meetings. I connected with potential distributors, contractors, and architectural partners from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Several promising discussions centered on OEM partnerships, bulk supply opportunities, and customized glass solutions for upcoming commercial projects.
Attending China Glass 2026 reinforced our position as a reliable architectural glass supplier and gave us clear direction for product development in the coming year.
If you’re a dealer, contractor, or builder looking for high-quality tempered glass, laminated glass, or insulated glass solutions, feel free to reach out. We’re excited to bring the latest industry advancements to your next project.
